Angelina Jolie Defies Gravity

Gravity, scripted by director Alfonso Cuarón, is about two characters, a team leader (Downey Jr.) and a female lead, who get stranded in space after their space station explodes, killing the remainder of their team. It’s been described as Castaway set in space. Warner Bro., was pushing hard to get Angelina Jolie for the female lead. Apparently, Jolie has decided to pass on it. ScreenRant reports: According to Deadline, Angelina Jolie has passed on the lead role in Alfonso Cuarón’s 3D film Gravity (co-starring Robert Downey Jr.)

Director Talks How Captain America Links To Thor & Avengers

Director Joe Johnston has offered a brief idea on how his Captain America film will tie into other Marvel movies, like Thor and The Avengers. Although he doesn’t go into details, we at least get some perspective on his tease. IGN reports: “There are links between all the Marvel films, mostly ones that only the fans will pick up on,” the helmer told CBM. “We have several subtle references to certain elements in Thor, but since Captain America is a period picture taking place in the ’40s, there are fewer opportunities for contemporary links to the rest of the Marvel universe. We can, however, create events in our story that will be paid off in Avengers and other Marvel pictures.” Geek Tease! That’s about it. It’s totally understandable that since Caps is set in the ’40s, well there isn’t too much they can tease about regarding other superheroes like Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, etc. What they can do, like he states, is touch on events or elements, that will get paid off in these other superhero movies. I’m really excited about Caps

Mission Impossible IV Casts Paula Patton

Well Mission: Impossible IV has officially begun to snow ball with its newly casted lead actress Paula Patton. Paula has more Producer credits then acting credits but some of the films she has acted in are Just Wright, Precious, and Hitch. It is well known that this Mission: Impossible will be a reboot of the series which I am feeling neutral about. Honestly, I could watch Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt until Mission Impossible: XX where the mission is impossible because Ethan walks with a walker and a oxygen tank. I am very excited to see Jeremy Renner in this film, also for the return of Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames

New Tron Poster

A new Tron poster has been released and man does it make me wish I was a program. I really love the new Tron suits, and seeing the suit and helmets up close at the FanExpo really made me excited to see them in action on film. So far every poster that has been released for this film has made me pee a little bit in my pants which is why I plan to wear a diaper to the screening of the film. The one thing that has really caught my eye with this particular poster is the blue over the green, the colours do wonders for each other and really makes the poster stand out. Have any thoughts or opinions on this new Tron poster

Due Date Trailer Online

Robert Downey Jr is playing strong on his comedy vein alongside funnyman Zack Galifinakis in Due Date where he plays a man who is plagued with unimaginable obsticles attempting to travel across country to return home in time to witness the birth of his child. I haven’t laughed out loud at a trailer in a long time. I can only hope that the film itself lives up to this as this trailer has me itching to see it. These two seem to have a chemistry going on and you know they will form an unlikely bond by the end of the film. I can’t wait for this one.

First Look at David Tennant in Fright Night Remake

David Tennant, hands down the most popular actor to play Doctor Who to date is trying hard to distance himself from the role. A stigma that has burdened past actors to play the Doctor. Now we get a look at one of his latest roles where he plays Peter Vincent in the Fright Night remake (originally played by Roddy McDowall) from a banner ad hanging in a Hard Rock Cafe and Casino. I am really looking forward to seeing how they handle this remake, and adding David Tennant in the role of the Vampire Killer/Tv Personality Peter Vincent is a good fit.

Dwayne Johnson joins Journey to the Center of the Earth Sequel

Journey to the Center of the Earth did rake in $250million world wide and showed a profit, so that of course means they have to make a sequel. But Brendan Fraser was not available, so they went with Dwayne Johnson instead! The Flick Cast says: Brendan Fraser will not be returning to the Journey to the Center of the Earth franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Fraser dropped out due to scheduling conflicts, so the torch will now be passed to Dwayne Johnson for the next installment of the adventure series, entitled Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. I didn’t mind Journey to the Center of the Earth, and I thought it was a good step for Brendan Fraser to solidify him in these family friendly roles.

Toy Story 3 Returns to Cinemas on Labour Day Weekend

Seems the last official weekend of Summer Vacation will see a re-release of Disney Pixar’s big hit Toy Story 3. Screen Rant shares: Lee Unkrich, director of Toy Story 3, announced on Twitter that Pixar’s billion-dollar movie will re-release in American theaters this weekend for the Labor Day holiday. Fans of the film may be pleased to hear the news, but what is the point, really? Avatar grossed $750 million in its 34-week domestic run – $77 million of which came in its first three days. The first five days of the Avatar: Special Edition re-release has only mustered up $4.8 million domestically. Basically, the greed of James Cameron did not pay off. So clearly re-releasing Toy Story 3 this weekend is PURELY for the cash. That’s no surprise

Sentinel Prime on set of Transformers 3

On the set of Transformers 3, an intrepid fan gets some shots of some of the vehicles, and a security guard plays Vanna White introducing a pair. What is interesting is that he points at Optiums Prime (full with Trailer – please let him have Roller in there!) and then points at another massive firetruck and calls him Sentinel Prime Now in the comic book series, Sentinel Prime was the former leader of the Autobots who passed on the Leadership Matrix to Optimus on his deathbed. In Transformers Animated Sentinel Prime was an egotistical member of the Cybertron Elite Guard who mocks Optimus for washing out of the program. In the film Transformers 2:Revenge of the Fallen Sentinel Prime is mentioned briefly in one of the spark induced trance speeches by Sam Witwicky.

New Buried Trailer Online

This is quite possibly the most terrifying thing I could think of happening to anyone. Waking up in a box, buried alive. You would feel every last moment of terror as each breath of air slowly poisons your own body to death. It makes me uncomfortable to even think about it. Check out this new trailer for Ryan Reynold’s Buried. That just makes my skin crawl just thinking of what he might be thinking in his head.
